The Role of Energy: Food, Campfires and Hot Springs without the Pressure of Hunger
Understand how The Collision's energy system works and why it was designed to reward exploration instead of punishing those who play calmly.

Many survival games force players to live chasing food, with a hunger bar that empties nonstop. In The Collision we chose a different path. Here there is no constant pressure of hunger: energy works as a recovery and bonus resource, not as a clock that punishes those who are still learning.
Food, such as roasted meat, fish and forest fruit, speeds up the recovery of health and stamina. Eating before a difficult hunt is a strategic choice, not an obligation. Campfires, lit with branches and flint, create rest zones where the character gradually recovers, and the crackling of the fire also serves as a sound landmark to find your way back.
The Hot Springs are the high point of this system. Resting in the hot water restores health faster than anywhere else on the Island. That is why they have become the community's natural meeting point, where survivors trade items and plan expeditions. This design was conceived especially so that players who need more time to find their bearings are not put at a disadvantage.
