Patch 2.0 is the result of months of work and hundreds of suggestions sent by the community through the Idea Board. It profoundly transforms the survival experience on the Island.

The first big news is the size of the world. The Island now spans thirty-five kilometers, with new stretches of forest, an enlarged swamp, a completely redesigned Plateau of Howls and brand-new paths up to the volcano's crater. Each region received its own soundscape, recorded with binaural microphones to faithfully reproduce the feeling of being there.

The second novelty is human voices. Taunts, cries of pain, celebrations and calls for help are now performed by real actors, with dozens of variations per character. With the F key you choose the taunt, and nearby players hear your voice positioned exactly where you are.

Finally, combat has become much more precise. Each weapon now has a distinct sound when raised, when cutting through the air and when hitting the target, allowing attentive players to react in time. The stamina system was rebalanced to reward those who dodge at the right moment, and target locking with the G key now follows moving targets more smoothly.
